Cardinals third baseman David Freese is still in the running to make the National League All-Star roster. Freese trails Braves third baseman Chipper Jones by a slim margin in the voting for the final spot. However, Jones was named to the roster yesterday as an injury replacement for Dodgers center fielder Matt Kemp. Freese's remaining competition includes Nationals rookie Bryce Harper, Arizona second baseman Aaron Hill and Braves outfielder Michael Bourn. Voting ends tomorrow.
