Cleo R. Hamilton, 85, Green Valley, Ariz., a native of Heyworth, died Sunday (April 22, 2012) at her home of congestive heart failure.
A graveside service will be in Columbia, Mo., at Memorial Park Cemetery, and her remains placed in the mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Memorial Funeral Home & Cemetery, Columbia, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
She was born April 19, 1927, in Heyworth, the daughter of John and Cecil Peasley. She married Robert Hamilton on Feb. 7, 1947.
She is survived by her husband and their children, Randy Hamilton, Teri (Bill) Miller and Rick Hamilton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ilene Schnell and Thelma Erdman; and brother, Louis Peasley.
She was a full-time mother and homemaker and lived in Carlock and Rock Falls; Columbia, Mo.; and Green Valley.
She was interested in and participated in golf and a variety of crafts. She was a member of Carlock Christian Church and Green Valley Recreation.
