The DeWitt County Board continues to make headway in getting a new animal shelter in place. B. Willis Litwiller, 88, of Hopedale, passed away at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday (May 20, 2015) at Hopedale Nursing Home. He was born March 11, 1927, in Hopedale, to Ervin T. and K. Vietta King. Jerry W. Crabtree, 65 of Lincoln, passed away at 1:52 p.m. May 17, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, IL. Jerry was born on August 2, 1949 in Decatur, son of John and Mary Wallen Crabtree.
