The Clinton Fire Department responded to a fire at AREA Disposal Thursday night.
Around 10:30 pm firefighters responded to reports of smoke coming from AREA Disposal in Clinton. Upon arriving on scene, surface material had caught fire. Assistance was needed and Maroa, Wapella and Kenney Fire Departments assisted the Clinton Fire Department.
