Once again, the Thursday night DeWitt County Board meeting has no motion to fill the vacancy open for representation in District B.

Clyde Parker, 87, of Monticello passed away on September 13 at Kirby Hospital. He was born April 20, 1927 in Valley Park, Missouri. He married Gloria Jean Thies, his wife of 60 years on April 17, 1954. He is survived by a sister, Betty Swain and brother, Pat Parker both of St. Louis.
