The Clinton Police Department and the Exelon Clinton Nuclear Power Station officially announced a partnership in assisting the Department to acquire their K-9 unit, Charlie. Charlie is a female black lab and according to Clinton Police Chief Ben Lowers, following the retirement of their former K-9 Lasko, the department wanted to continue their program, but needed the help of community partners. more
Larry W. Mowery, 63, of Heyworth, passed away at 10:30 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 3, 2015) at his residence.
